Vectorizing a lettering piece is as important as the pencil part. It’s half of the final result, so it is crucial that you learn how to do it right. There are many ways to vectorize a drawing but if you’re like me and you couldn’t find any tutorials right when you started, you probably experienced a lot of frustration with a lot of your designs.
It’s a shame to draw a beautiful lettering and ruin it because you don’t know the right methods to vectorize it professionally. I’ve done quite a few tutorials on vectorizing lettering, but at some point I really wanted to make a live session and vectorize a drawing from start to finish, and put everything I taught you in previous tutorials in practice.
In this almost one hour long video, I show you how I vectorized one of my own designs, from the scanned sketch to the polished, ready-to-publish vector version.
And this is not just any piece: Roar is my the first of my designs that’s going to be available for you to buy as a poster in my online shop. You can read the whole story behind this piece here and subscribe to be notified when it comes out!
